SHIFTING TECHNOLOGY

SHIMANO CUES x LINKGLIDE Long lasting performance

Shimano CUES is built upon our original LINKGLIDE technology to provide smooth and intuitive shifting that riders can count on in any situation. With up to three times the durability of HG when used with an e-bike, this groupset can stand up to the increased stresses that an assist-powered bike places on drivetrain components.

Kit includes

  • SL-U4000-L left shifter (2-speed) and SL-U4010-9R right shifter (9-speed)
  • FD-U4000 front derailleur: choose a 36/40T mount (direct, E-type, low clamp or mid clamp) to suit the FC-U4000-2 chainrings; the FD-U4010 option is for 46T cranksets
  • RD-U4020 rear derailleur (SGS cage, for 11-36T)
  • CS-LG400-9 LINKGLIDE 9-speed cassette, 11-36T
  • CN-HG701 11-speed chain (LINKGLIDE-compatible)

Optional parts

  • FC-U4000-2 crankset: choose 170 or 175 mm with 36-22T or 40-26T chainrings (optional: leave it at 0 for an e-bike or if you keep your crank)
  • BB-UN300 square-taper bottom bracket (68 x 123 mm)
  • BR-MT200 disc brake sets, front and rear

The crank, bottom bracket, brakes and rotors start at 0, so e-bikes and bikes keeping their own parts are not charged for them.

Pick your crank length, chainrings and front-derailleur mount in Customise Your Purchase; optional parts are added by ticking them.

Every part in this kit is covered by Shimano's standard manufacturer warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. Wear from normal use, incorrect installation or crash damage is not covered. For any warranty claim or support, return the part to Tune Cycles and we will handle it with Shimano.

  • Optional extras that start at 0: FC-U4000-2 square-taper crankset in 170 or 175 mm with 36-22T or 40-26T rings; BB-UN300 square-taper bottom bracket, 68 x 123 mm; BR-MT200 / BL-MT200 hydraulic disc brake sets, front (1000 mm hose) and rear (1700 mm hose)
  • LINKGLIDE cassette and chain: shift cleanly under load and outlast a conventional drivetrain, which suits e-bikes and hard-working commuters
  • Editable kit: deselect any part you already have and add only the extras your bike needs; the price follows the parts you keep
