Deore XT Di2 shifting for your Shimano STEPS e-MTB

Electronic shifting built for the torque of a mid-drive e-MTB. The Deore XT Di2 M8150 groupset puts a wired Di2 rear derailleur and shift switch on a Shimano STEPS drive unit, powered by the bike's own battery, so there is nothing extra to charge and every shift lands with the same light press whatever the load on the chain.

Kit includes

• SW-M8150 Di2 shift switch, right hand – choose band clamp or I-SPEC EV mount
• RD-M8150-12 SGS rear derailleur, 12-speed, SHADOW RD+ clutch, 51T low sprocket
• CS-M8100 12-speed cassette 10-51T (MICRO SPLINE) – or choose the SLX CS-M7100 10-51T instead
• CN-M8100 12-speed chain, 138 links with QUICK-LINK (e-bike length)
• 2 × EW-SD300 E-tube wires, 700 mm and 1200 mm, to connect the derailleur and switch to the drive unit

Options

Add FC-M8150 STEPS crank arms (160, 165 or 170 mm) and a CR-EM800 32T direct-mount chainring, BR-M8120 4-piston brakes and RT-CL700 or RT-CL800 rotors from the Optional Parts section. The crank, ring, brakes and rotors are not included in the kit price because most e-MTBs keep the ones they have.

Compatibility

For Shimano STEPS e-MTB drive units that support Di2 shifting. The RD-M8150-12 takes a 51T low sprocket only, which is why the kit offers 10-51T cassettes; it needs a MICRO SPLINE freehub. The switch and derailleur connect to the drive unit by E-tube wire – check your drive unit's E-tube port type and the wire lengths your frame needs before ordering, or ask us.
