Fox DHX2 Factory Coil Shock (2026) – 210 x 50mm, 4-Way + 2-Position Lever
SKU code: RFX-FS97801604
Nothing sticks to the ground quite like a coil shock. For 2026 the DHX2 moves to a monotube design for more durability while keeping its four-way adjustability: more traction, more support and more control from the coil shock Fox's World Cup downhill and enduro racers ride.
Highlights
- 4-way adjust: high-speed compression (8 clicks, VVC), low-speed compression (16), high-speed rebound (8, VVC), low-speed rebound (16)
- Monotube body with pressure balancing
- ½in damper shaft for strength and durability
- Ultra-low-friction internals for small-bump sensitivity
- Independent 2-position firm mode lever on most sizes
- Coil spring sold separately
- Starting weight 568 g (DHX2 without spring, 210 x 55mm, 2-position)
World's first 4-way monotube
Fox calls it the world's first four-way monotube: high- and low-speed compression and rebound in a simpler, more durable monotube body, with pressure balancing for extra sensitivity and support. A larger ½in damper shaft adds strength, and the MCU bumper and damper progressivity give you support on big hits and bottom-outs.
Lever or no lever
Most sizes come with Fox's independent 2-position firm mode lever for efficient climbing. The 250 x 75mm and 225 x 75mm trunnion downhill sizes skip the lever and keep the full four-way adjust. The reservoir sits transverse on most sizes to fit more frames; the 250 x 75mm uses a parallel reservoir.
Fitting and Fox service
Fitting isn't included: shock installation and setup is a separate workshop service. Tune Cycles is an authorised Fox service centre in Marrickville, Sydney, so we can fit your new shock, set it up for your weight and riding, help you choose the right spring rate, and look after its servicing. Fox recommends a full service every 125 hours of riding.
Compatibility & fit
Match the eye-to-eye length and stroke your frame maker specifies, and check whether your frame takes a standard eye or a trunnion mount. Mounting hardware isn't included; it's sold separately and has to suit your frame's mounts. The coil spring isn't included either. Fox's spring calculator helps you pick a rate, or we can work it out with you.
Sizes & options
Pick your eye-to-eye length and stroke; trunnion sizes are marked. The damper configuration is set by size.
