Coil is king. DHX brings coil-sprung, ground-hugging, trail-smoothing performance to all-mountain riding with intuitive adjustments, and for 2027 an updated high-flow main piston adds sensitivity, support and rear tyre grip.

All-mountain plushness

The piggyback reservoir increases oil volume and adds a secondary compression circuit for bump sensitivity, tyre grip and fade-free descending. Fox sizes the reservoir length to each shock size for less weight and better frame fit.

Terrain-adaptable tuning

Dial in support with the low-speed compression adjuster, flip the Firm switch for efficient climbing, and use the wide rebound range to match the trail and your riding.

Fitting and Fox service

Fitting isn't included: shock installation and setup is a separate workshop service. Tune Cycles is an authorised Fox service centre in Marrickville, Sydney, so we can fit your new shock, set it up for your weight and riding, help you choose the right spring rate, and look after its servicing. Fox recommends a full service every 125 hours of riding.

Compatibility & fit

Match the eye-to-eye length and stroke your frame maker specifies, and check whether your frame takes a standard eye or a trunnion mount. Mounting hardware isn't included; it's sold separately and has to suit your frame's mounts. The coil spring isn't included either. Fox's spring calculator helps you pick a rate, or we can work it out with you. Fox lists the DHX as compatible with bearing mounts at both ends.
