Fox built the Float DPS Performance around a lightweight chassis, an EVOL air spring and a dual piston damper with a 3-position switch. The result is a pedal-friendly shock that soaks up the bumps and puts your power into the ground, in the imperial sizes many trail and cross-country frames still use.

Pedal-friendly by design

The 3-position switch on the damper lets you open the shock up for descents and firm it for climbs and smooth fire roads. The dual piston damper keeps the ride controlled while the EVOL air spring keeps it supple off the top of the stroke.

Choosing LV or SV

Fox offers this shock with either an EVOL LV (large volume) or EVOL SV (small volume) air sleeve. In 7.875 x 2in you can choose either; the other sizes come with the sleeve Fox specifies for them. If you're not sure which your bike's suspension design suits, check your frame maker's spec or ask us.

Fitting and Fox service

Fitting isn't included: shock installation and setup is a separate workshop service. Tune Cycles is an authorised Fox service centre in Marrickville, Sydney, so we can fit your new shock, set it up for your weight and riding, and look after its servicing. Fox recommends a full service every 125 hours of riding.

Compatibility & fit

Imperial shocks are measured in inches; match the eye-to-eye length and stroke your frame maker specifies. Mounting hardware isn't included; it's sold separately and has to suit your frame's mounts.
