Built for marathon and XC racing, the Fox 32 Step-Cast Factory is the lightest MTB fork Fox makes at under 1300g, with a reverse arch that makes it 40% stiffer than the fork it replaced.

Light where it counts
The rear arch was generatively designed to raise stiffness by 40% while keeping weight down, with the clearance XC frames need at 100mm of travel. The Kabolt SL thru-axle saves 12g over the standard Kabolt by losing the axle nut and slimming the flange, and the 7000 series aluminium zero-offset crown supports angled upper tubes to set the rake, saving about 20g over the previous model.
GRIP SL damper
GRIP SL is Fox's light, short-travel damper. It gives a supple stroke with good pedal-to-bump efficiency and a smooth blow-off when you're riding locked out, with three on-the-fly compression positions and 17 clicks of low-speed rebound. The remote version runs Fox's push-to-lock remote; the lever itself is not included.
Fitting and Fox service
Fork installation is a separate workshop service and isn't included. As an authorised Fox service centre, our Marrickville workshop can fit the fork to your bike (steerer cut, crown race and star nut), set sag and damping for your weight and riding, and look after its scheduled Fox servicing from there.
Compatibility & fit
For 29in wheels with a 15 x 110mm Boost hub and a 1.5in tapered steerer. The crown suits 58mm head tubes only. Brakes are 160mm post mount direct, up to 180mm rotors with the right adapter. Maximum tyre size is 29 x 2.4in. Fox rates the 32 Step-Cast for EN 17406 category 3 use with a maximum system weight of 121kg, and lists it as compatible with Class 1 and L1e-A e-bikes.
