Nothing sticks to the ground quite like a coil shock. The DHX2 builds on that feel with progressive damping, a huge overall tuning range and super low-friction internals, so you get the full race-spec magic carpet ride in the imperial sizes many enduro and downhill frames use.

Race-bred damping

Linear damping gives more control with less harshness, and Fox's high-flow main piston, steel outer body and finned inner body add structural rigidity and reduce hysteresis. A shorter reservoir helps it fit more frames.

Lever or no lever

The 7.875 x 2in and 8.5 x 2.5in shocks carry a 2-position firm lever on an independent circuit for a firmer lockout on climbs. The 9.5 x 3in and 10.5 x 3.5in downhill sizes skip the lever and keep the full four-way adjust.

Fitting and Fox service

Fitting isn't included: shock installation and setup is a separate workshop service. Tune Cycles is an authorised Fox service centre in Marrickville, Sydney, so we can fit your new shock, set it up for your weight and riding, help you choose the right spring rate, and look after its servicing. Fox recommends a full service every 125 hours of riding.

Compatibility & fit

Imperial shocks are measured in inches; match the eye-to-eye length and stroke your frame maker specifies. Mounting hardware isn't included; it's sold separately and has to suit your frame's mounts. The coil spring isn't included either. Fox's spring calculator helps you pick a rate, or we can work it out with you.
