eBike & eMTB Brakes

Brakes, rotors and pads for eBikes and eMTBs. An eMTB is heavier and carries more speed into corners than a regular mountain bike, so the brakes here are the four-piston stoppers their makers build for eMTB and gravity riding: SRAM Maven, Code, DB8 and Level 4-piston; Hope Tech 4 V4, E4 and EVO GR4; TRP DHR EVO; Tektro Orion and Gemini; and Shimano's eBike-approved Deore and CUES brakes. There are also eBike and cargo brakes such as SRAM Guide RE, G2 RE, TRP C2.3 and Slate EVO.

Levers with a motor cut-off sensor tell the drive unit to stop assisting the moment you brake. You'll find them on Tektro's HD-E range, Auriga E and Magura MT5e (HIGO), and in the Clarks eBike sets. You'll also find Shimano RT-EM, Hope and TRP 2.3 mm rotors, rotors with the eBike speed-sensor magnet, and eBike-compound pads from Hope, Jagwire, BBB, Kool Stop and Clarks.
