The Cruiser puts the laid-back cruiser ride on a step-over aluminium frame, sized Medium and Large for taller riders. You sit upright behind wide, swept-back bars while a Bafang hub motor takes the sting out of headwinds and gentle climbs.
- Fit you can fine-tune: an adjustable stem (75 mm extension) and a quick-release 30.9 mm seat post make it easy to dial in your position.
- Hub-drive simplicity: a Bafang G120 rear hub motor (250 W, 36 V, 45 Nm) with a cadence sensor and 5 assist levels from 10 to 25 km/h.
- Up to 50 km per charge: from the integrated Reention Mini Eel battery, 36 V and 417 Wh.
- Gears for flats and hills: a Shimano Altus 8-speed drivetrain.
- Confident braking: Shimano MT200 hydraulic disc brakes.
- Cushioned rolling: Kenda Kwick 27.5" x 2.2" brown-wall tyres on 36-hole double-wall rims.
Road legal and bike-path ready
Assistance comes only while you pedal, there is no throttle, and the 250 W motor stops helping at 25 km/h. The Cruiser meets EN15194 and is road legal in all Australian states and territories.
Sizing
Medium suits riders 165–180 cm and Large suits riders 180 cm and taller, both in Grey. It weighs 21 kg including the battery and is rated for a 110 kg rider plus 25 kg of luggage on a rear rack (optional accessory).

VelectriX warranty, from the date of purchase:
- Frame: 5 years against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship.
- Motor, battery and motor controller: 2 years.
- Battery charger, display, wiring looms, pedal-assist sensor and gear-shift sensor: 1 year.
- Fork, stem, handlebar, headset, seatpost, saddle, brakes, bottom bracket, crankset, pedals, rims, spokes, hubs, derailleur, shifter and rear rack: 1 year.
Wear items aren't covered: tyres and tubes, kickstand, mudguards, lights, grips, brake pads and rotors, chainrings, cassette, chain and gear cables. A battery that keeps at least 60% of its capacity within 2 years is considered normal ageing. The frame is rated for a 110 kg rider plus 25 kg of luggage. The warranty covers the original purchaser of a bike bought through an authorised VelectriX dealer (Tune Cycles is one), with proof of purchase, and claims go through that dealer.
