The Cruiser X ST is the cruiser with a mid-drive. The Bafang M210 motor sits at the cranks and reads your pedalling through a torque sensor, so the assist feels natural, and the low step-through frame arrives with everything you need for daily riding already fitted.

  • Longer rides: a 36 V, 460 Wh Reention Mini Eel battery gives up to 60 km per charge.
  • Nine gears: a Shimano CUES 9-speed drivetrain for hills and flats.
  • Comfort built in: a suspension seat post and Kenda Kwick Nine 27.5" x 2.2" tyres take the edge off rough patches, ahead of a rigid aluminium fork.
  • Ready for errands: rear rack, mudguards, lights, reflectors, bell, tool kit and kickstand all come standard.
  • Sure stopping: Shimano MT200 hydraulic disc brakes.

Road legal, pedal-assist only

It is a 250 W pedal-assist eBike with no throttle, and assistance stops at 25 km/h. VelectriX builds it to EN15194, and it is road legal in every Australian state and territory.

Sizing

Choose Champagne in Small for riders 158–170 cm or Medium for riders 170–185 cm. It weighs 24.3 kg including the battery and is rated for a 110 kg rider plus 25 kg on the included rear rack.

VelectriX warranty, from the date of purchase:

  • Frame: 5 years against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship.
  • Motor, battery and motor controller: 2 years.
  • Battery charger, display, wiring looms, pedal-assist sensor and gear-shift sensor: 1 year.
  • Fork, stem, handlebar, headset, seatpost, saddle, brakes, bottom bracket, crankset, pedals, rims, spokes, hubs, derailleur, shifter and rear rack: 1 year.

Wear items aren't covered: tyres and tubes, kickstand, mudguards, lights, grips, brake pads and rotors, chainrings, cassette, chain and gear cables. A battery that keeps at least 60% of its capacity within 2 years is considered normal ageing. The frame is rated for a 110 kg rider plus 25 kg of luggage. The warranty covers the original purchaser of a bike bought through an authorised VelectriX dealer (Tune Cycles is one), with proof of purchase, and claims go through that dealer.
