The Ascent X tops the Ascent line. Its Bafang M510 mid-drive makes 95 Nm, the most torque of any VelectriX eBike we list, and it sits in a 29" aluminium frame with a 120 mm fork and a dropper post. Pick it if your rides take in steep climbs, rail trails and mild off-road tracks.

- Go further: a 36 V, 504 Wh Reention Mini Eel battery gives up to 70 km per charge.
- More travel up front: an RST Blaze suspension fork with 120 mm travel.
- Dropper as standard: an Exaform hydraulic dropper post with 125 mm travel gets the saddle out of the way on descents.
- Grip and control: Kenda Booster 29" x 2.4" tyres, a 720 mm bar on a 50 mm stem, and Shimano MT200 hydraulic disc brakes.
- Ten gears: Shimano CUES 10-speed with a shift sensor.
Road legal, pedal-assist only
For all its torque, the Ascent X is a 250 W pedal-assist eBike with no throttle, and assistance stops at 25 km/h. It is built to EN15194 and road legal in every Australian state and territory.
Sizing
The Ascent X comes in Black: Medium for riders 165–180 cm and Large for 180–195 cm. It weighs 23.5 kg including the battery and is rated for a 110 kg rider plus 25 kg of luggage on a rear rack (optional accessory).

VelectriX warranty, from the date of purchase:
- Frame: 5 years against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship.
- Motor, battery and motor controller: 2 years.
- Battery charger, display, wiring looms, pedal-assist sensor and gear-shift sensor: 1 year.
- Fork, stem, handlebar, headset, seatpost, saddle, brakes, bottom bracket, crankset, pedals, rims, spokes, hubs, derailleur, shifter and rear rack: 1 year.
Wear items aren't covered: tyres and tubes, kickstand, mudguards, lights, grips, brake pads and rotors, chainrings, cassette, chain and gear cables. A battery that keeps at least 60% of its capacity within 2 years is considered normal ageing. The frame is rated for a 110 kg rider plus 25 kg of luggage. The warranty covers the original purchaser of a bike bought through an authorised VelectriX dealer (Tune Cycles is one), with proof of purchase, and claims go through that dealer.
