The Ascent 29 is the full-size hub-drive Ascent, rolling on 29" wheels with Medium and Large frames for adult riders. Big wheels, a 100 mm fork and Shimano CUES gearing make it a steady, comfortable choice for rail trails and mild off-road rides, and it is just as at home on the weekday commute.

Road legal, pedal-assist only
The Ascent 29 is built to EN15194 and is road legal in all Australian states and territories. Its 250 W motor helps only while you pedal, there is no throttle, and assistance stops at 25 km/h.
Sizing
Both sizes come in Charcoal: Medium for riders 165–180 cm and Large for 180–195 cm. It weighs 23.5 kg including the battery and is rated for a 110 kg rider plus 25 kg of luggage on a rear rack (optional accessory).

VelectriX warranty, from the date of purchase:
- Frame: 5 years against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship.
- Motor, battery and motor controller: 2 years.
- Battery charger, display, wiring looms, pedal-assist sensor and gear-shift sensor: 1 year.
- Fork, stem, handlebar, headset, seatpost, saddle, brakes, bottom bracket, crankset, pedals, rims, spokes, hubs, derailleur, shifter and rear rack: 1 year.
Wear items aren't covered: tyres and tubes, kickstand, mudguards, lights, grips, brake pads and rotors, chainrings, cassette, chain and gear cables. A battery that keeps at least 60% of its capacity within 2 years is considered normal ageing. The frame is rated for a 110 kg rider plus 25 kg of luggage. The warranty covers the original purchaser of a bike bought through an authorised VelectriX dealer (Tune Cycles is one), with proof of purchase, and claims go through that dealer.
