GRX Di2 delivers the digital precision Shimano's electronic drivetrains are renowned for — fast, accurate shifts under load, every time. Synchronized Shifting lets you concentrate on the ride: one lever trigger handles both front and rear derailleurs automatically, keeping you in the optimal gear ratio without manual front shifting. The system is also fully programmable via Shimano's E-Tube Project app, allowing custom shift configurations to suit your riding style.

Gravel-Optimised Controls & Braking

The ST-RX815 lever hoods are shaped specifically for gravel riding — higher and broader than road levers, with a recessed finger notch that keeps your hands secure over rough surfaces. SERVOWAVE brake lever technology provides progressive braking feel with strong initial bite and smooth modulation, while the BR-RX810 calipers with Ice Tech heat dissipation manage braking temperatures on long descents. The Shadow RD+ clutch on the rear derailleur prevents chain slap and derailment on technical terrain.

Gearing & Drivetrain

The 48/31T double chainring setup delivers a wide gear range suited to loaded touring and technical gravel climbing, while keeping top-end speed for faster surfaces. The rear derailleur handles cassettes from 11-30T up to 11-34T (the included CS-HG800 11-34T), giving a total capacity of 38 teeth. The FC-RX810 crankset uses a wider Q-factor than road cranks for a more natural pedalling stance on longer days in the saddle.

Compatibility & Fit

The GRX RX815 Di2 groupset is compatible with 11-speed Shimano drivetrains. The front derailleur is braze-on mount with a maximum front chainring of 50T. Brake calipers are flat-mount disc only — rotors are sold separately (140mm or 160mm recommended). Crank arm lengths available: 170mm, 172.5mm, and 175mm. Bottom bracket is English or Italian threaded (BB-R60 included). Di2 wiring lengths may need to be matched to your frame — additional E-Tube wires are sold separately if required. Rotors and a Di2 charging cable are not included.
