The Alba is Praxis's forged alloy road crank, named after the Alba Road climb in the Santa Cruz hills. Its 3-bolt direct-mount spider means one set of arms can carry compact to race 2x gearing, solid aero rings or a single 1x ring.

One crank, several setups
Praxis road cranks take their rings through a 3-bolt direct-mount interface on the drive arm. The LevaTime II X-spider (4-bolt 160/104 BCD) carries every 2x set from 48/32 to 53/39, a 110 or 130 BCD spider carries standard or aero rings, and a DM1X ring bolts straight to the arm for 1x. That is why the Alba comes in so many gearing options.
LevaTime II is Praxis's cold-forged 2x shifting design, with a stiffer 5 mm big ring and forged shift pins for quick, positive shifts.

Compatibility & fit
Bottom bracket: needs a Praxis M30 bottom bracket (30 mm drive / 28 mm non-drive bearing), sold separately. Versions: BSA, BB30/PF30, BB86/BB90/BB92, BBright, 386EVO, T47 external bearing and T47 internal bearing.
Drivetrain (2x): Shimano Di2 and mechanical, SRAM eTap and mechanical (including the AXS flat-top chain) and Campagnolo EPS and mechanical, 10/11/12-speed. The 2x road chainline is not compatible with Shimano GRX front derailleurs; Praxis makes the Alba-GR for that.
1x: Shimano and SRAM 10/11/12-speed with a clutch rear derailleur; not for Campagnolo chains. Praxis still suggests an upper chain guide for rough terrain.
Power: Praxis lists 3-bolt spider meters from Power2Max (NG and NG Eco), SRM, SIGEY and XCADEY, plus power pedals and the Velocomp PowerPod.
The Tune Cycles workshop can fit the bottom bracket and crankset for you as a separate workshop service. Threaded shells need the right BB tool and press-fit shells need a proper bearing press, so it pays to have the shell checked and the bottom bracket fitted correctly first. The main crank bolt is torqued to 48–52 Nm with a torque wrench.
Praxis warrants its components to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for 2 years from the original purchase date, for the original owner with proof of purchase. The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear (such as chainring tooth wear, worn anodising or coatings, bearing wear and general corrosion), or damage from a crash, impact, abuse, modification, or installation that does not follow Praxis's instructions and tools.
