Float X teams up with Live Valve Neo for wireless suspension control. The system opens or firms the compression circuit based on trail data in 1/70th of a second, so you get support when you want it and plushness when you need it.

How Live Valve Neo works

Live Valve Neo reads terrain inputs 400 times per second and responds instantly by opening or firming the shock: firm when you need it, plush when you want it. Fox says it makes your riding more efficient, even while descending, without giving up traction, control or comfort.

Tune it your way

A 7-position Firm Mode Adjust dial fine-tunes support when the shock is firmed, and indexed low-speed compression and rebound dials set your descent feel in Open mode. The FOX Bike App is the hub for all Neo components: follow the setup guides, check battery levels, load Live Valve Neo Tunes and keep track of service intervals.

Fitting and Fox service

Fitting isn't included: shock installation and setup is a separate workshop service. Tune Cycles is an authorised Fox service centre in Marrickville, Sydney, so we can fit your new shock, set it up for your weight and riding, pair and set up the Live Valve Neo system, and look after its servicing. Fox recommends a full service every 125 hours of riding.

Compatibility & fit

Match the eye-to-eye length and stroke your frame maker specifies, and check whether your frame takes a standard eye or a trunnion mount. Mounting hardware isn't included; it's sold separately and has to suit your frame's mounts. The Live Valve Neo Kit (sensors, Controller battery and mounting hardware) is sold separately and is required for the shock to work. Fox publishes known frame incompatibilities for its Live Valve Neo shocks on its tech site, so check your frame with us before you order.
