TRP E.A.S.I. A12 Electronic 12-Speed Drivetrain for Bosch Smart System — Auto-Shift Upgrade

TRP’s E.A.S.I. A12 is the electronic 12-speed drivetrain built with Bosch for Smart System e-bikes: the RD-M8000E rear derailleur runs off the bike’s own Bosch battery, the wireless CMD shift switch sits on the bar like a normal trigger, and Bosch’s eShift adds automatic shifting to a cadence you set in the Flow app, RollShift (it changes gear while you coast) and Auto-Downshift to a starting gear when you stop. Manual shifting is always there when you want it.

Fit and compatibility

Bosch Smart System e-bikes only (Performance Line CX and SX with the Smart System, per TRP and Bosch). It does not work on any other bike or motor: the derailleur has no battery of its own and is powered through Bosch’s HPP eShift cable, which comes from Bosch, not in this kit. Bosch and TRP say a Smart System bike can generally be retrofitted, but the bike maker has to allow it and eShift has to be enabled on the bike with the Bosch dealer software — so this is a workshop-fitted upgrade. Book the fit with us and we confirm your bike qualifies before anything is ordered. The RD-M8000E takes cassettes up to 52T; the CS-M9050 is a 10-52T on a Micro Spline freehub, the CS-M7000-12 option an 11-50T on a standard HG freehub. Your Bosch crank and chainring stay — there is no crank in this kit.

Editable kit: swap the cassette to suit your freehub, add the DH-R EVO brakes and 2.3 mm rotors, or deselect any part you already have — the price adjusts as you go.
