The Piccola Carbon is Trickstuff's lightweight brake for cross-country and marathon riding. Carbon levers and a slimmed-down caliper save grams, yet two big pistons still deliver strong, predictable stopping power.

Light without going soft

Carbon levers, titanium yoke bolts and a weight-optimised C22 caliper bring each brake down to as little as 160 g, according to Trickstuff. The 9 mm pump piston feeds two 22 mm caliper pistons for grip well beyond what the size suggests.

Predictable at full effort

Linear power transmission means braking force builds in step with your finger force. That makes it easier to hit your braking points when your heart rate is maxed out.

What's in the box

Front and rear brakes, band clamps, Power Alu 830 pads, mounting hardware, an M4 bleed adapter and a water bottle. The hoses come at 900 mm (front) and 1,700 mm (rear). Discs and caliper adapters are sold separately.

Compatibility & fit

Front and rear brakes with post-mount calipers. Caliper adapters and discs are not included, so add the adapters and rotors your frame and fork need. Maximum disc thickness is 2.10 mm. Replacement pads use Trickstuff shape 830, and the system runs Bionol brake fluid.

Actuation is front right / rear left: the right-hand lever works the front brake.

Trickstuff interfaces (sold separately) mount SRAM MatchMaker X (MMX) and Shimano I-Spec EV (right side) shifters directly to the Piccola pump.

Fitting isn't included. Our Marrickville workshop can fit the brakes, shorten the hoses to suit your bike, bleed the system with Bionol and set up the levers.
