Hope calls the XCR Pro X2 its benchmark lightweight brake: the minimalist XCR Pro lever with a carbon blade and titanium hardware, paired with the two-piston XCR X2 caliper. Choose post mount or flat mount to suit your XC race bike.

Built for racing

A forged billet lever, crimped hose and rigid one-piece caliper keep weight to a minimum without giving up Hope feel. Maximum rotor thickness is 2.3mm.

Flat mount options

Front flat mount with 160mm rotor: Hope Mount Z. Rear flat mount with 160mm rotor: Mount Y; with a 140mm rotor it bolts on directly.

Black Cable = post mount caliper with black hose (the only hose option for XCR). Flat Mount = X2 flat mount caliper.

Compatibility & fit

Rotors and mounts are sold separately. The lever is compatible with all current Tech 3 shifter mounts. In Australia the front brake usually runs on the right lever. Fitting, hose trimming and bleeding are a separate Tune Cycles workshop service, not included in the price – book at tunecycles.com.au/book.

Hope Technology covers its components for two years from the original date of purchase against manufacturer defects in materials and workmanship; damage from normal wear, misuse or not following Hope's recommendations isn't covered. For warranty support, return the item to Tune Cycles with your proof of purchase and we'll manage the claim for you. This is in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
