Battery Technology

The BT-EN805 pairs Shimano's second-generation lithium-ion cells with an advanced battery management system. Frame Integration

Designed specifically for frame-integrated mounting, the BT-EN805 slots into the down tube or seat tube cavity of compatible e-bike frames using Shimano STEPS battery mount hardware. The flush fit protects the battery within the frame and delivers a clean aesthetic without exposed battery bulges.

Compatibility & Fit

Compatible with Shimano STEPS DU-EP801 (EP8) and DU-EP600 (EP6) drive units. Requires a frame with an integrated battery cavity and Shimano STEPS second-generation battery mount points. Compatible charger: EC-E8004. Not compatible with first-generation Shimano STEPS systems (E6000 / E8000 series).
