Shimano's setting tool for installing the in-frame battery mount when the bike runs the standard 504Wh BT-EN805 (second generation, on the BM-EN800 or BM-EN801) or BT-E8035 (first generation, on the BM-E8030 or BM-E8031). Shimano's dealer manuals use it to position the key cylinder and to set the upper and lower brackets parallel, so the battery is held properly.

TL-BME04 is made up of TL-BME04-L and TL-BME04-S. The longer BT-EN805-L, BT-EN806, BT-E8035-L and BT-E8036 use a different mount setting and need the TL-BME05 instead.

Shimano warrants to the original retail purchaser that the Shimano bicycle division product for which they received this warranty, is free from non-conformities in material and workmanship for a period of two years and their Dura-Ace and XTR components are covered for a period of three years from the date of original retail purchase. Shimano footwear, soft goods and wheels are warranted for a period of one year.
