Full Carbon Construction
The WH-RS710 rim is built entirely from carbon fibre reinforced plastic (CFRP), delivering a 46mm profile that balances aerodynamic advantage with manageable crosswind handling. The 21mm internal channel width provides excellent tyre support and a stable contact patch, while the 28mm external width contributes a smoothly blended aero profile. Tubeless compatibility lets you reduce tyre pressure for improved grip and comfort on imperfect road surfaces — rim tape and tubeless valves are sold separately.
Hub and Bearings
The rear hub runs contact-sealed bearings for smooth, low-maintenance rolling and long-term durability in varied conditions. A pawl ratchet mechanism provides positive freehub engagement. The Shimano HG freehub body is compatible with 11-speed and 12-speed Shimano road cassettes, including the CS-R9200, CS-R8100, and CS-R7100 series.
