Scope designed the Artech Disc to pair with the Artech 8.T front wheel for optimal performance. High lateral stiffness keeps it efficient under power, and the 23mm internal hooked bed is shaped around 28mm clincher and tubeless tyres for a balance of aerodynamics, rolling resistance and comfort.

Scope says its Artech triathlon and time trial wheels are used by three-time Ironman champion Patrick Lange and UCI World Tour teams, which have tested them with their own wind tunnel and field protocols.

Artech technology

Scope applies its Algorithm Enhanced Aerodynamics (AEA) shaping, Aeroscales surface texture and Local Reinforcement carbon lay-up across the Artech range. The hub uses Scope's Diamond Ratchet SL engagement, made from titanium with a diamond-like carbon coating for direct engagement, improved durability and lower weight.

Compatibility & fit

Built on a 12 x 142mm thru-axle hub for disc brake frames with a Centre Lock rotor (rotor not included). Choose the freehub body that matches your cassette. Scope optimises the hooked, tubeless-ready rim for 28mm tyres and states it works with clincher and tubeless tyres. Check your event's rules on disc wheels before racing. Wheel set-up, tyre fitting and cassette installation are separate Tune Cycles workshop services and are not included.
