A light, dependable Center Lock rotor for everyday and trail riding on resin pads. Shimano made the SM-RT54 about 10% lighter than the earlier SM-RT53, and the 180 mm size gives more braking leverage than a 160 mm rotor.

Resin pads only
The SM-RT54 is designed for resin (organic) pads. Do not use metal (sintered) pads with it.
Compatibility and fit
Fits Center Lock hubs, not 6-bolt hubs, and your caliper needs a mount or adapter set for a 180 mm rotor. This is the internal lock ring version. Shimano lists internal lock rings for QR and 12 mm E-THRU front hubs, but not 15 mm E-THRU or 20 mm thru-axle front hubs, which need an external lock ring. Some rear hubs also need the external type, so check your hub or ask us before ordering.
Covered by Shimano's warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. Rotors are a wear item: wear, warping from impacts or overheating, and contamination are not covered. This cover is in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
