Rough and rowdy rim

Race Face made the Aeffect R rim to handle enduro and all-mountain punishment. The stout 6069 alloy extrusion has a 30mm inner width and comes tubeless ready, and its 4.5mm offset spoke bed evens out spoke tension between the two sides of the wheel, which adds stiffness and improves fatigue life.

Trace hub

The Trace hub skips the gimmicks: durable cartridge bearings, no-nonsense 10-degree engagement and a tough steel axle. This listing offers it with a Shimano Microspline, Shimano HG or SRAM XD freehub.

Compatibility & fit

Choose the axle that matches your frame (12x148mm Boost or 12x157mm Super Boost) and the freehub that matches your cassette (Shimano Microspline, Shimano HG or SRAM XD). The hub takes a 6-bolt disc rotor. This is a single wheel; tyre, disc rotor and cassette aren't included. Fitting isn't included. Our Marrickville workshop can fit the wheel, set it up tubeless and move your rotor and cassette across as a separate service.
