The DH9 is Praxis's gravity crank for downhill and long-travel bikes, forged from high-grade alloy with reinforced cross-sections. It comes in two spindle widths: the DH9-73 for regular mountain bike shells and the DH9-83 for downhill frames that need the longer spindle.

Which version?
Match the version to your frame's bottom bracket shell. The DH9-73 goes in regular 73 mm BSA, BB90 and BB92 mountain bike shells, so it also suits riders who are hard on equipment but don't ride a downhill bike. The DH9-83 is for the wider 83 mm BSA, PF104.5 and PF107 downhill shells and will not fit a regular mountain bike. As an example from Praxis, the Pivot Phoenix uses the DH9-73 with Praxis's M30-PF41 BB92 bottom bracket.
The arm set is sold without a ring. Any brand's 3-bolt direct-mount ring fits, and the ring's offset sets the chainline shown below.

Compatibility & fit
Bottom bracket: needs a Praxis M30 bottom bracket (30 mm drive / 28 mm non-drive bearing) to suit your shell, sold separately.
Drivetrain: 1x Shimano or SRAM with a clutch rear derailleur; chain compatibility follows the direct-mount ring you fit.
The Tune Cycles workshop can fit the bottom bracket and crankset for you as a separate workshop service. Threaded shells need the right BB tool and press-fit shells need a proper bearing press, so it pays to have the shell checked and the bottom bracket fitted correctly first. The main crank bolt is torqued to 48–52 Nm with a torque wrench.
Praxis warrants its components to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for 2 years from the original purchase date, for the original owner with proof of purchase. The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear (such as chainring tooth wear, worn anodising or coatings, bearing wear and general corrosion), or damage from a crash, impact, abuse, modification, or installation that does not follow Praxis's instructions and tools.
