CUES is Shimano's unified value-and-performance platform, and this crankset is designed around its LINKGLIDE gearing. The 36-22T option gives you a genuinely low 22-tooth inner ring for loaded or steep terrain, with the 36-tooth outer ring keeping your cadence comfortable on flatter trails and roads; the 46-30T option trades some of that low end for a faster top gear on the road.

Stiff and efficient pedalling

The two-piece HOLLOWTECH II structure ties the crank arms to a wide-set 24 mm axle, increasing rigidity and putting more of your effort into forward drive. Aluminium arms keep weight down while steel chainrings resist wear over long kilometres.

Compatibility and fit

Designed for 2x CUES LINKGLIDE drivetrains: the 36-22T rings are made for 10 and 11-speed, the 46-30T rings for 9 and 10-speed. The FC-U6000-2B (Boost) version has a 51.8 mm chainline for 148 mm O.L.D. frames; the standard FC-U6000-2 suits conventional spacing. Match the front derailleur to the rings: the FD-U6000 takes up to a 40T outer ring, so the 46-30T set needs a front derailleur rated for 46T (such as the FD-U8010-L). 24 mm HOLLOWTECH II axle; fits 68/73 mm BSA threaded bottom bracket shells – Shimano recommends BB-MT501 (threaded) or BB-MT500-PA (press-fit), sold separately. Run with a LINKGLIDE chain (CN-LG500) or a compatible HG 11-speed chain.
