Spindles: 29 mm is the SRAM DUB size and 30 mm is for 30 mm bottom brackets. 5DEV lists these chainlines: 130 mm Boost 52 or 55 mm, 136 mm 55 mm, 145 mm DH 56.5 mm.
Compatibility & fit
Bottom bracket: sold separately. Choose the 29 mm spindle for a SRAM DUB bottom bracket, or the 30 mm spindle for a 30 mm bottom bracket. A Shimano 24 mm bottom bracket has to be replaced with one or the other (5DEV).
Chainring: 5DEV describes this crank as a SRAM 8-bolt interface design. DSG doesn't say whether a chainring is included, so ask us before ordering.
Setup: each arm should sit at least 3–5 mm from the chainstay; if it doesn't, 5DEV recommends the 136 mm spindle. Q-factor is not published for this crank.
The Tune Cycles workshop can fit the bottom bracket and crankset for you as a separate workshop service. Threaded shells need the right bottom bracket tool and press-fit shells need a proper bearing press, so it pays to have the shell checked and the bottom bracket fitted correctly first. 5DEV's torque spec for the Cam Zink Freeride crank bolts is 40 Nm.
5DEV backs its products with a limited 5-year warranty from the date of manufacture, against defects in materials and workmanship. If 5DEV confirms a defect, it replaces the affected part with a comparable model. Talk to us before replacing anything: 5DEV voids the warranty if a part from another maker is fitted in place of the 5DEV component.
