The Alba-GR is Praxis's forged alloy crank built for gravel 2x groups. It moves the rings out to a 47 mm chainline so it lines up with Shimano GRX 2x and SRAM Wide front derailleurs, and carries 48/32 LevaTime II rings for low climbing gears.

Why a GR crank
Shimano GRX 2x and SRAM Wide gravel groups use a front derailleur that sits further out than a road one, so the rings need to sit further out as well. The Alba-GR's 47 mm chainline is made for those derailleurs. If your gravel bike runs a standard road front derailleur, Praxis recommends one of its road cranks instead.
To go 1x later, a Praxis Road DM1X ring bolts to the 3-bolt direct-mount interface and gives a 48 mm gravel 1x chainline (ring sold separately).

Compatibility & fit
Bottom bracket: needs a Praxis M30 bottom bracket (30 mm drive / 28 mm non-drive bearing), sold separately: BSA, BB86, T47 internal bearing, T47 external bearing, BB30, PF30, 386EVO or BBright.
Drivetrain: Shimano GRX 2x (Di2 and mechanical) and SRAM Wide 2x (eTap and mechanical), 10/11/12-speed; KMC, Shimano and SRAM chains including Flattop.
Power: Praxis lists Power2Max (NG and NG Eco) and SRM 3-bolt meters, plus power pedals and the Velocomp PowerPod.
The Tune Cycles workshop can fit the bottom bracket and crankset for you as a separate workshop service. Threaded shells need the right BB tool and press-fit shells need a proper bearing press, so it pays to have the shell checked and the bottom bracket fitted correctly first. The main crank bolt is torqued to 48–52 Nm with a torque wrench.
Praxis warrants its components to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for 2 years from the original purchase date, for the original owner with proof of purchase. The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear (such as chainring tooth wear, worn anodising or coatings, bearing wear and general corrosion), or damage from a crash, impact, abuse, modification, or installation that does not follow Praxis's instructions and tools.
