The J1 KinetiCore is Lazer's everyday helmet for kids who are keen to get riding, whether that's to school, around the neighbourhood or out on a weekend adventure. It is light, simple to adjust and has KinetiCore protection built into the liner.

KinetiCore protection

KinetiCore uses controlled crumple zones: EPS foam blocks inside the helmet that collapse under impact, absorbing energy in both direct and angled falls before it reaches your child's head. It is built into the helmet rather than added on as a separate layer.

Easy for parents and kids

A turn of the dial tightens or loosens the fit, so it is quick to set before each ride. The one-size shell and fit system are designed to suit a wide range of head shapes, and the helmet works with Lazer's Winter Kit for colder mornings.

Compatibility and fit

One size, suited to head circumferences from 50 to 56 cm, and it comes in a range of colours and designs. Measure your child's head just above the eyebrows and ears, and check the helmet sits level with the straps snug before each ride. Replace any helmet that has taken an impact, even if no damage is visible.

Covered by Lazer's warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. Normal wear is not covered, including the pads, straps, buckle, fit system and finish, and any helmet that has taken an impact must be replaced even if the damage isn't visible. This cover is in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
