Electronic Di2 Technology
The FD-R7150 connects to the R7150 Di2 system via a single EW-SD300 electric wire port and is powered by the BT-DN300 rechargeable battery. Shift behaviour can be configured and monitored through Shimano's E-TUBE Project smartphone app, including selecting synchronised shifting modes suited to climbing or sprinting. The system communicates with the rear derailleur in real time, so the front derailleur always knows where you are in the cassette and adjusts cage position accordingly.
Compatibility & Fit
The FD-R7150 is a braze-on front derailleur designed for Shimano 105 R7150 Di2 12-speed road drivetrains. It supports a maximum outer chainring of 52T and is optimised for 50/34T and 52/36T compact and semi-compact chainring combinations. Chainline: 44.5mm. Chainstay angle: 61–66°. Connects via EW-SD300 electric wire (1× SD300 port). Not compatible with mechanical shifting or 11-speed groupsets. For frames without a braze-on front derailleur mount, use the Shimano SM-AD91 seat tube adapter.
