The 9-36 is the most compact of Campagnolo's Ekar 13-speed cassettes, with close steps suited to fast endurance and gravel racing. Its 9-tooth sprocket gives you a tall top gear without needing a big chainring.

Gearing

The sequence runs 9-10-11-12-13-14-16-18-20-23-27-31-36. Campagnolo says its testing shows the 9-tooth sprocket is as efficient as a 10- or 11-tooth sprocket, so you get the range without losing watts.

Construction

The cassette is built as two blocks (four and nine sprockets) with heat-treated carbon steel cores and a nickel-chrome-satin surface treatment for durability on gravel.

Compatibility & fit

Designed for the Campagnolo Ekar 1x13-speed groupset. It mounts on the N3W freehub body; the first four-sprocket block includes the lockring. Use the Ekar C13 13-speed chain. Campagnolo notes that all current disc-brake Campagnolo HH12 wheelsets can take an N3W body. Fitting is available as a separate workshop service; it is not included in the price.
