The Shimano 105 CS-R7101 brings 12-speed gearing to your road bike with a wide 11-34T spread, so you have a fast top gear for the flats and an easy bottom gear for the steepest climbs. It mounts on existing 11-speed HYPERGLIDE freehubs as well as the new 12-speed bodies, making it a straightforward upgrade for a lot of road wheelsets.

Wide-range 12-speed gearing
The 11-34T spread runs 11-12-13-14-15-17-19-21-24-27-30-34T. The tightly stepped lower cogs keep your cadence steady at speed, while the 34T sprocket gives you a genuine bail-out gear for long or punchy climbs.
Smooth, dependable shifting
Shimano's HYPERGLIDE design uses specially positioned shift ramps and tooth profiles to guide the chain cleanly between cogs under load, so gear changes stay quick and quiet across the whole block.
Compatibility & fit
This is a 12-speed road cassette for the Shimano 105 R7100 series, compatible with both mechanical and Di2 systems. It fits the new 12-speed HG-Spline-L2 (HG-L2) freehub body and also mounts on a road 11-speed (HG-11) freehub body. Use it with a Shimano HG 12-speed chain.
