Built for e-MTB
Designed around the higher loads of pedal-assist riding, the HX 531 carries extra strength to handle the torque of an e-MTB drivetrain and the additional weight of motor and battery. The welded joint creates a smooth, consistent braking and sealing surface, while the non-eyelet PHR (Pro Head Reinforcement) spoke bed adds durability where spoke tension is highest. With a 30mm internal width it supports wide e-MTB tyres from 47 to 90 mm and a pressure range of 2 to 4.7 bar.
Compatibility & fit
This is the 29"/622 diameter in a 32-hole drilling. It is disc-specific (no braking surface) and Tubeless Ready with a Presta valve. Build it into a disc-brake e-MTB or hybrid wheelset using 32 spokes.
DT Swiss covers this rim with a 24-month warranty against material and manufacturing defects from the date of purchase. Normal wear items, including tubeless tape, are not covered. The DT Swiss crash-replacement (Fair Share) programme applies to carbon rims only and does not apply to this aluminium rim.
