The DT Swiss RR 481 DB in 650b is a wide, tough aluminium rim built for the rough stuff. The smaller 584 diameter pairs with high-volume tyres for extra grip and comfort on gravel and all-road, and a 130kg max system weight makes it a confident choice for loaded riding and bikepacking.

Construction
The RR 481 uses a welded aluminium rim joint and the non-eyelet DT Swiss PHR (Pro Head Reinforcement) washer system, which spreads spoke load across the rim wall for durability under rough-road abuse. The 25mm-deep, 26mm-wide profile gives a stable platform for wide tyres.
Compatibility & fit
This rim is disc-brake specific (no braking surface) and built for 650b / 584 (27.5") wheels. It is hooked tubeless-ready and uses a Presta valve. Pair it with 24-hole DT Swiss or compatible disc hubs and a tubeless gravel or all-road tyre. DT Swiss Squorx Pro Lock nipples and PHR washers are included.
DT Swiss covers this rim with a 24-month warranty against material and manufacturing defects from the date of purchase. Normal wear items, including tubeless tape, are not covered. The DT Swiss crash-replacement (Fair Share) programme applies to carbon rims only and does not apply to this aluminium rim.
