Synthesis Enduro Carbon gives the front and rear of your bike different rims on purpose. The front rim is tuned for compliance and a big tyre footprint to hold a line through rock gardens and roots; the rear is reinforced for stiffness, stability and impact resistance when you load it hard into corners.

Front compliance, rear stability

Crankbrothers gives the front rim its own profile, internal width and carbon layup for lateral and vertical compliance, which it says improves directional control and reduces torsional feedback through the bar. The 31.5mm internal width allows a large tyre contact patch for grip. The rear rim uses a reinforced profile and layup for extra stiffness in corners and a robust, impact-resistant wheel, while its slimmer 29.5mm internal width gives a faster-rolling tyre profile.

Sizes & options

Each option is a single rim for one position. Width, hole count, ERD and weight differ between the two.

Compatibility & fit

This is a rim only. It is not laced, and the hub, spokes and nipples are separate. The front rim is drilled 28 hole and the rear rim 32 hole, so check your hub's hole count. Crankbrothers' Synthesis rim profile chart lists a 2.2in to 2.6in tyre range for the Enduro rims, and Crankbrothers wheels are for disc brakes only.

Our workshop builds wheels and can lace this rim to your hub. Wheel building is a separate workshop service and is not included in the price.
