The DT Swiss RR 421 DB is a lightweight aluminium endurance road rim built for riders who want a dependable, comfortable all-rounder for disc-brake builds. At a claimed 430g it keeps rotating weight low while the 20mm internal width supports modern higher-volume road tyres.

Construction
The RR 421 uses a welded aluminium rim joint for consistent wall thickness and a clean, true rim bed. It runs the non-eyelet DT Swiss PHR (Pro Head Reinforcement) washer system rather than traditional eyelets, spreading spoke load across the rim wall. The profile is 21mm deep with a 24mm outer width, giving a stable, aerodynamically neutral shape.
Compatibility & fit
This rim is disc-brake specific (no braking surface) and is designed for 700c / 622 wheels. It is hooked tubeless-ready and uses a Presta valve. Pair it with 32-hole DT Swiss or compatible disc hubs and a tubeless-rated road tyre. DT Swiss Squorx Pro Lock nipples and PHR washers are included.
DT Swiss covers this rim with a 24-month warranty against material and manufacturing defects from the date of purchase. Normal wear items, including tubeless tape, are not covered. The DT Swiss crash-replacement (Fair Share) programme applies to carbon rims only and does not apply to this aluminium rim.
