The D 1900 Classic rear wheel is designed to take the punishment of dirt jumping and return for the next run. Built around a 30 mm alloy rim with 36 DT Competition spokes and brass nipples, it runs a single-speed-only rear hub with 12-tooth sprocket — the correct configuration for dirt jump bikes that don't need a derailleur getting in the way of footjam whips.- 30 mm internal rim width

Single-speed specific
The rear hub is configured for single-speed use only with a 12-tooth sprocket. This is not compatible with cassette drivetrains. If you're building or running a dirt jump bike, this is the correct setup.
36H for durability
36-hole lacing distributes the impact of rough landings across more spokes, reducing the peak stress on any individual spoke or nipple. A meaningful difference when you're consistently pulling big gaps.
