Details

Tempo Adventure is FSA's budget-friendly sub-compact double for touring, commuting and gravel. The arms are die-cast alloy with a monocoque arm and spider, the outer ring is stamped and CNC-machined AL7075, and the inner ring is heat-treated chromoly for durability.

Fit and compatibility

It's a JIS square taper crank, so it needs a JIS square taper bottom bracket of the right axle length for your frame (sold separately). Rings are 46/30T on a 110/80mm BCD. 172.5mm sits between the two most common sizes and is a common choice for average to taller riders.

Fitting

Fitting a crankset means removing the old crank and bottom bracket, checking the frame's shell, and setting the correct preload on the non-drive arm. If you'd rather not do it at home, our workshop can fit it and check the chainline and shifting at the same time.
