Details

Gradient is FSA's trail, enduro and downhill line. The modular crank uses forged and CNC-machined alloy arms with a hard-anodised finish, and a forged AL7050 BB392EVO spindle. Because it's modular, the direct-mount ring swaps with FSA's lockring tool, and the chainline can be adjusted to suit Boost or standard spacing.

Fit and compatibility

It uses a BB392EVO spindle, so it needs a BB392EVO-compatible bottom bracket for your frame (sold separately). The ring is 36T direct mount. 165mm is a popular pick for smaller riders, and for anyone after a more open hip angle or more pedal clearance.

Fitting

Fitting a crankset means removing the old crank and bottom bracket, checking the frame's shell, and setting the correct preload on the non-drive arm. If you'd rather not do it at home, our workshop can fit it and check the chainline and shifting at the same time.

FSA warrants its products against defects in materials and workmanship for two years from the original purchase, for the original purchaser. Stripped pedal threads, crash damage, incorrect installation and modification aren't covered.
