Power data on a titanium road crank. This package puts an XCADEY spider power meter on 5DEV's hollow RGXC titanium arms, measuring total power at the spider to ±1% and running on a rechargeable battery rather than coin cells.

The power meter
XCADEY builds its spider meters for SRAM 8-bolt direct-mount road cranks, and the RGXC uses the SRAM 8-bolt interface. The spider measures total power to ±1.0% across 0–2500 W, and also reports cadence and left/right balance. It talks ANT+ and Bluetooth 4.0, so it pairs with bike computers and apps that read ANT+ or Bluetooth power, and you set it up in the XCADEY app. It is rated IP67 and works from −10 to 50 °C.
The crank
5DEV CNC-machines and laser-welds the hollow RGXC arms in San Diego, with diamond-coated titanium hardware and a low-profile tip. The three-piece spindle means the arms can be moved to a Road Wide or XC spindle later if you change frames. This package comes on the 68mm Road spindle.

Compatibility & fit
Bottom bracket: sold separately. 5DEV's Road spindle is 29 x 118 mm, the SRAM DUB size (5DEV: 28.99 mm), so you need a DUB-size bottom bracket for your frame's 68 mm road shell.
Chainrings: DSG doesn't list chainrings or the spider's ring BCD for this package, so we'll confirm the ring set with you before ordering.
Head units: any computer or app that reads ANT+ or Bluetooth power.
Pedals: 5DEV doesn't recommend titanium pedal axles in its titanium cranks; use anti-seize or grease on the pedal threads.
The Tune Cycles workshop can fit the bottom bracket and crankset for you as a separate workshop service. Threaded shells need the right bottom bracket tool and press-fit shells need a proper bearing press, so it pays to have the shell checked and the bottom bracket fitted correctly first. 5DEV's torque spec for the RGXC crank bolt is 50 Nm. Pairing the power meter with your head unit and calibrating it are also separate workshop services, and we can do both when we fit the crank.
5DEV backs its products with a limited 5-year warranty from the date of manufacture, and its titanium cranks with a limited lifetime warranty, against defects in materials and workmanship. If 5DEV confirms a defect, it replaces the affected part with a comparable model. Talk to us before replacing anything: 5DEV voids the warranty if a part from another maker is fitted in place of the 5DEV component. XCADEY covers its power meter spiders for 2 years from the purchase date.
