Ride it fixed or flip it to freewheel: this 700C / 29er rear wheel is laced to Sturmey-Archer's HBT30-R, a sealed-bearing track hub threaded on both sides.

The hub. Sturmey-Archer lists the HBT30-R as: single-speed / fixed rear hub, threaded both sides (fixed/free); 6061 aluminium hub shell; sealed cartridge bearings; chromoly axle; high-polish anodised alloy finish; hub weight 325–335 g.
Fit. It needs a frame with 120–130 mm rear spacing and takes a nutted axle. Fixed sprocket and freewheel are not stated as included. The rim has a machined braking surface for rim brakes.

Sturmey-Archer and the rim maker don't publish consumer warranty terms we can quote for this build. The wheel is covered against defects in materials and manufacture. Normal wear, crash or impact damage and misuse are not covered. If you have a problem, return the item to Tune Cycles with your proof of purchase and we'll manage the claim.

You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
