Built for the trail
The MT500 is Shimano's everyday trail wheel: robust, simple to service and happy on everything from fire roads to singletrack. It is a sensible upgrade over a stock entry-level wheel and an easy like-for-like replacement when one gets damaged.
Compatibility and fit
- Fits forks with 110 mm Boost spacing and a 15 mm thru-axle
- Center Lock disc rotor mount — a 6-bolt rotor needs a Center Lock adapter
- 29" (622) clincher rim
- Rotor, tyre, tube and thru-axle are not included
Boost (110 mm) and standard (100 mm) forks are not interchangeable. If you are unsure which your fork uses, contact Tune Cycles before ordering.
Shimano warrants to the original retail purchaser that the Shimano bicycle division product for which they received this warranty, is free from non-conformities in material and workmanship for a period of two years and their Dura-Ace and XTR components are covered for a period of three years from the date of original retail purchase. Shimano footwear, soft goods and wheels are warranted for a period of one year.
