Stan's Flow MK4 rim set, 32H, 26", 27.5", 29" or Mullet (29" front / 27.5" rear)
Two Stan's Flow MK4 rims packed as one set: the rim pair inside our hand-built value MTB wheelsets, and the same pair on its own for your own build. Stan's built the MK4 as a 30 mm wide asymmetric rim for an even stronger wheel: the offset drilling balances spoke tension between the two sides.
What is in the box
- Two Stan's Flow MK4 rims, 32H, in the diameter you choose: 26", 27.5", 29" or Mullet (29" front / 27.5" rear)
- Rims only: Stan's lists no nipples, tape or valves with the rim. For your own build you need 64 nipples, 33 mm tubeless tape and two Presta tubeless valves (our wheel kits supply them).
The rim
- 30 mm internal, 33.6 mm external, 18.9 mm deep: optimised for 2.3-2.6" tyres
- 6069 aluminium alloy, welded joint, reinforced spoke bed; BST-Asymmetric drilling (3.0 mm offset)
- Tubeless-ready with 33 mm tape and a Presta valve; 39 psi max with a 2.30" tyre, 34 psi with a 2.60" (Stan's)
- ERD 536 mm (26") / 561 mm (27.5") / 600 mm (29") - weight 466 g (26") / 487 g (27.5") / 521 g (29") (Stan's figures)
- Disc brake only; maximum spoke tension 130 kgf (1,275 N)
Warranty
Stan's covers its alloy rims for 3 years against manufacturing defects for the original owner, plus a 1-year crash replacement. Any claim comes back to Tune Cycles: bring the rim to Marrickville or contact us with your order number.
