Tektro HD-R285 2-piston hydraulic disc brakes, front and rear, with rotors

A complete hydraulic disc brake set for a flat-bar road, hybrid or trekking bike with flat-mount frame and fork: two pre-bled Tektro HD-R285 assembled sets (flat-bar lever, hose and low-profile 2-piston flat-mount caliper with resin pads fitted) plus a pair of 160 mm Tektro 1.8 mm rotors.

Rotor size: 160 mm front and rear (Tektro 1.8 mm, the size most flat-mount hybrids run). Already have rotors, or your frame runs 140 mm? Set the rotor row to 0 and the price follows the parts you keep.

Fit-up parts, sold separately (linked here and shown with this kit): Tektro mineral oil, a bleed kit. Add what your bike needs to the cart alongside the kit.

This kit is the Centre Lock version - the same brakes with 6-bolt rotors are the 6-bolt kit.

Already have rotors? Untick them and the price follows the parts you keep. Every part in this kit can be deselected, so a bike that only needs one end, or already has the right rotors, is not charged for the rest.

Fitting notes

Australian convention: the right-hand lever works the front brake and the left-hand lever the rear; the sets are built that way. Flat mount: a 140 mm rotor fits a flat-mount frame directly and a 160 mm needs the +20 mm flat-mount adapter; flat-mount forks take the caliper on a 140 or 160 mm fork adapter. The sets are supplied as one end each - reuse the flat-mount adapters already on your bike or ask us for the right ones. A post-mount fork or frame does not take this brake. 140 mm rotors are sold separately if your frame runs them. Service fluid: Tektro mineral oil.

Every part in this kit is covered by Tektro's manufacturer warranty against defects in materials and workmanship (two years from the original purchase date). Brake pads and rotors are wear items; wear from normal use, incorrect installation, crash damage or modification is not covered. For any warranty claim or support, return the part to Tune Cycles and we will handle it with Tektro.
