Wireless shifting that just works

eTap is SRAM's wireless electronic drivetrain. Each lever talks directly to the derailleurs, so there are no shift cables or housing to fray, stretch or contaminate. The paddle shift logic is simple and repeatable - tap one lever to shift one way, the other lever to shift back, and both together to move the front derailleur - which keeps your attention on the road rather than the bars.

Hydraulic braking with a tuneable feel

Braking comes from SRAM's HydroHC platform running DOT 5.1 fluid and steel-backed organic pads for reliable power and heat management. Contact Point Adjustment lets you set exactly where the brake bites, while a separate Reach Adjust dials the lever closer or further from the bar to suit your hand size and grip.

Fit and compatibility

This is an 11-speed RED eTap HRD shift-brake control for hydraulic disc road bikes, designed to run within the SRAM eTap HRD ecosystem. It is not cross-compatible with the later 12-speed RED eTap AXS HRD system. Following the Australian brake convention, the left lever operates the rear brake and the right lever the front.
