Shimano Deore XT SL-M8000-IR right shifter, 11-speed I-SPEC II

The right-hand Deore XT trigger shifter, which controls the rear derailleur. It mounts to the brake lever with I-SPEC II rather than taking its own bar clamp, so the cockpit stays clean and the shifter sits exactly where your thumb wants it.

Highlights

  • 11-speed RAPIDFIRE PLUS trigger shifter
  • Right-hand unit for the rear derailleur
  • I-SPEC II mounting to a compatible brake lever
  • Long lever body with an anti-slip paddle texture
  • Ergonomic Deore XT design for all-weather use

A cleaner bar

Sharing a clamp with the brake lever removes hardware from the handlebar and lets you set shifter angle and reach independently, which matters when you are riding with gloves or in the wet.

Compatibility and fit

Requires a brake lever with an I-SPEC II mount. It will not fit I-SPEC EV or I-SPEC B levers, and it has no separate bar clamp. Pairs with Shimano 11-speed mountain bike rear derailleurs and cassettes. If you are not sure which I-SPEC standard your levers use, ask us before you order.
