Carbon Laminate Construction

Shimano's differential-height carbon laminate rim bonds a carbon layer to an alloy base, boosting torsional and lateral stiffness well beyond an all-alloy rim while keeping the wheel fully repairable and brake-track safe. The 24mm depth is tuned for road and gravel use — aero enough to matter, shallow enough to handle crosswinds with confidence.

Tubeless or Clincher

The hooked-bead rim seat seals with tubeless road tyres from 25mm to 35mm wide, giving you the option to run lower pressures for better grip and puncture resistance. Standard clincher tyres with a tube work equally well if you prefer the traditional setup — no adaptors or conversion required.

Ultegra-Level Hub

The wide-flange Ultegra hub uses traditional cup-and-cone bearings that can be adjusted, overhauled, and serviced with standard tools. Straight-pull spoke seats maintain tension more consistently than J-bend designs and simplify spoke replacement. The Centre Lock rotor interface is compatible with any Shimano or third-party Centre Lock rotor.

Compatibility & Fit

Designed for 700c disc brake road and gravel bikes with a 100 × 12mm thru-axle front dropout. Fits any frame that accepts a Centre Lock disc rotor. Recommended tyre widths 25–35mm (tubeless or clincher). Not compatible with rim brakes or quick-release dropouts.
