Ergonomics & Design

The ST-R3000 hoods feature a slim, anatomically contoured profile that sits comfortably in the hand whether you're sprinting, climbing, or cruising on the hoods. One-finger operation for both shifting and braking is achievable from multiple hand positions, reducing fatigue on long rides.

Compatibility & Fit

Designed for 2x9-speed Shimano Sora R3000 road drivetrains. The left lever (ST-R3000-L) is compatible with the Sora FD-R3000 front derailleur only — it is not compatible with triple (3x) front derailleurs. The right lever (ST-R3000-R) works with Shimano 9-speed road rear derailleurs. Brake actuation is short-pull Super SLR, compatible with Shimano road dual-pivot caliper brakes. Fits standard 23.8 mm and 24.2 mm drop handlebars. Not compatible with hydraulic brakes or MTB components.
