Construction

The WH-MT620 uses a double-wall alloy rim with a welded joint for uniform strength around the entire circumference. Twenty-four J-bend spokes are laced to SLX-series hubs front and rear, with alloy nipples keeping weight in check. The 29" rim (622 x 30C) is sized for contemporary trail geometry and works with the widest range of current MTB tyres.

Rear axle: 148x12mm Boost thru-axle only (non-convertible). Freehub: Shimano Micro Spline — compatible with Shimano 12-speed cassettes only.
