The Shimano RT-CL800 is a 140mm Center Lock disc rotor built with Ice Technologies FREEZA construction to keep your braking cool, quiet and consistent. A sandwich of stainless steel braking surfaces around an aluminium core draws heat out of the rotor and dumps it through exposed radiator fins, so lever feel stays predictable even on long, brake-dragging descents.

Cooler braking on long descents

FREEZA bonds stainless steel braking tracks to an aluminium core that extends into exposed fins. The aluminium conducts heat away from where the pads bite and the fins shed it into the airstream, which helps reduce brake fade and prolongs pad and rotor life when you are on the brakes for minutes at a time.

Center Lock convenience

The Center Lock spline interface threads on with a single lockring rather than six bolts, making fitting and swaps quicker. It also spreads braking load over a larger contact area between hub and rotor.

Compatibility & fit

Center Lock hubs only. The included internal-serration lockring suits 9/10mm quick-release and 12mm thru-axle hubs. Hubs running 15mm or 20mm thru-axles require an external-serration lockring (sold separately). Rotor diameter is 140mm at 1.5mm thickness; works with Shimano resin or metal disc brake pads.
